Student receives a "No Base" error on their iClicker remote

Problem: Student reports a "no base" error when s/he tries to vote during a polling session in class.

Solution: (Tell the student)

1. You will need to change the frequency setting on your iClicker. Most likely the frequency is "AA" which is the default setting. Your instructor would tell you if the frequency has been changed.

2. You can only change the frequency on the iClicker remote during an open polling session in the classroom. The frequency info is saved the next time you use your iclicker. Here's how to change the frequency:
