Blackboard Emails go to Junk Folder

Blackboard email going to clutter is not so much a BB issue but a function of the new filtering system in Microsoft Office 360. Students can either:

1. Turn clutter off in Outlook.
- Click on the "Settings" (gear icon) in the top right hand corner of your mailbox, scroll down to "Your app settings" and select "Mail";
- A menu will open on the left hand side of your mailbox;
- Click on "Clutter" (you may have expand the Mail menu to get this option) to get the Clutter menu;
- Deselect "Separate items identified as clutter" and
- Select "Save".

2. Remove sender from Clutter.
- Go to the Clutter folder;
- Right click on the message mistaken as clutter to get the menu; and
- Select "Move to Inbox.

Moving a message into your inbox once is enough to allow Outlook to remember that the sender shouldn't return to clutter.
